A small, cosy and welcoming term time nursery where we learn through play and experiences. Outdoor play everyday in our very own playground and around the Island.
A relaxed space for parents and children to enjoy free play, these sessions promote sensory exploration and problem-solving, helping little ones stretch their minds and bodies.
We offer seasonal events throughout the year, at Xmas, Halloween and Summer Music. Join in and enjoy the fun. A great way for children and families to create lasting memories together.
More Than A Playhouse!
The Island Playhouse and Nursery is now open.
We are now Ofsted Registered and offering Full Day Care from April 2026. We are open 50 weeks a year, closing for one week at Christmas and one week in August from 8am to 5.30pm.
There is a Term-time only option (38 weeks) on Mondays to Fridays. Great for parents who work from home or if a full nursery day doesn’t suit your family's needs.
If you are eligible for 15 or 30 hour funding, you can access genuinely completely free high-quality Ofsted-registered daycare. No top-ups, no meal charges and no consumable charges.
Children learn most effectively when parents enter their world of play and imagination.
