More Than A Playhouse!
The Island Playhouse and Nursery is evolving into more than just a Playhouse.
We’re excited about adding childcare services at the Island Playhouse. We are now Ofsted Registered and offering Day Care from April 2026. Term-time only daycare (38 weeks) from 9am to 3pm on Mondays to Fridays. Great for parents who work from home, and a full nursery day doesn’t suit them. Or for parents who have older children at school and little ones can fit into the same routing.
If you are eligible for 15 or 30 hour funding, you can access genuinely completely free high-quality Ofsted-registered daycare. No top-ups, no meal charges and no consumables charges.
Children learn most effectively when parents enter their world of play and imagination.
