Island Playhouse and Nursery is a small, cosy and welcoming term-time nursery where we learn through play and experiences. Outdoor play every day in our very own playground and around the Island.

Learning Through Play

We believe in the power of play to ignite curiosity and creativity. From painting and storytelling to messy play and outdoor adventures, our activities are designed to nurture confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Family-Friendly Term-Time Care

The perfect choice for parents who work from home, have other children at school or prefer to spend holidays together. It’s a rhythm that supports family life and gives children a sense of routine and rest.

• Open from 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday for under 3s. Extended hours from 8am to 5pm available on request

• No top-ups. Completely free funded spaces available for children eligible for 15 or 30 hours of early years funding. Snacks, hot lunch, nappies and wipes are all provided by the nursery.
