Island Playhouse and Nursery is a small, cosy and welcoming term-time nursery where we learn through play and experiences. Outdoor play every day in our very own playground and around the Island.

NEW - More Options for your Family
From October 2026 we will be open from 8am to 5.30pm. From January 2027 we are offering All Year Round places as well as Term Time Only places. Whatever suits your family's life right now.

Flexible hours - Monday to Friday, Core hours 9am to 3pm, Extended hours 8am to 5.30pm

No top-ups. Completely free funded spaces available for children eligible for 15 or 30 hours of early years funding. Snacks, hot lunch, nappies and wipes are all provided by the nursery.
Stay & Play
Our stay & play sessions provide a relaxed environment where parents and children can play freely. A dedicated Playleader will enhance the experience with songs, games, and bubbles, creating moments of joy and connection.
From sensory exploration to problem-solving, our play sessions encourage little ones to stretch their bodies and minds while having fun.
